SMFS list member Nupur Tustin’s third book in the Joseph Haydn Mystery Series is now out. Published by Foiled Plots Press, Prussian Counterpoint: A Joseph Haydn Mystery is available in eBook format from various sites including Amazon. The read is also part of the Book giveaway this week at KRL News & Reviews  where you can also read their review.

Synopis:

When an enemy makes overtures of friendship, is anyone safe?

An unexpected invitation from wily King Frederick causes composer Joseph Haydn to fear he’s walking into a trap. After all, the Prussian King has never had any use for Haydn’s music. His Majesty seems more intrigued at Haydn’s being the son of a market-judge.
Worse still, the invitation appears to stir up suspicion in the highest quarters in Vienna. So much so that a mysterious, cloaked lady visits Haydn’s Music Room and issues a thinly veiled threat.
Now Haydn is convinced there’s mischief afoot. But not even he can foresee that he will stumble upon the corpse of the imperial ambassador a day after his arrival in Frederick’s Prussia, along with evidence that His Lordship may have been a common thief.
Can Haydn salvage the imperial ambassador’s reputation—and find his killer?

SMFS Member Publication News: Bob Petyo

Based in Sydney, Australia, Gypsum Sound Tales has published their second book in the Colp anthology line. As he was with the first book where his short story, “Past Mistakes” appeared, SMFS list member Bob Peyto has a short story in the new book. His short story, “Heaven’s Bar” appears in the just released, COLP: Sky’s The Limit. The book is available in print and eBook Formats.

Amazon Synopsis:

The sky has always fascinated me. The more I learn, the more questions I seem to have. Free radicals, refracting light, the knowledge that, if you travel high enough, everything will eventually give way to the blackness of space - each fact makes me more and more curious about what might be going on up there. There are stories wrapped up in this knowledge, plenty of stories… Colp's latest collection, Sky's The Limit, contains twelve of these tales. Each story presents a unique perspective on our atmosphere and the effect that it may have on the people living, day by day, on the land down below.
