2020-2022 SMFS Officers Announced


The Short Mystery Fiction Society is pleased to announce that Robert Lopresti is our new SMFS President.

Kevin R. Tipple is the new Vice President.

Tony Rudzki returns as Derringer Coordinator. 

The new Derringer Assistant Coordinator is Paula Messina.


Both the President and Vice President serve two-year terms while the Derringer Coordinator and Assistant Derringer Coordinator each serve a one year term. More information about the duties and responsibilities of the officers can be found here.

2019-2020 SMFS OFFICERS ANNOUNCED

The Short Mystery Fiction Society is pleased to announce that, by acclamation, Tony Rudzki and Dan Persinger are the Derringer Coordinator and Assistant Derringer Coordinator for a one year term of office starting today, July 1, 2019.

They join the current President, Kevin R. Tipple, and Vice President, Larry W. Chavis, who are serving their final year in office starting today.

2020 Derringer Coordinators Announced


The membership of the SMFS is pleased to announce that, by acclamation, Tony Rudzki is the 2020 Derringer Coordinator and Dan Persinger is the 2020 Assistant Derringer Coordinator.  Their terms will start on July 1, 2019  and cease on June 30, 2020 as will the terms of the current President and Vice President.

2018-2020 SMFS Officers Announced

The Short Mystery Fiction Society is pleased to announce that, by acclimation, Kevin R. Tipple and Larry W. Chavis are returning in their respective roles as President and Vice President for the 2018-2020 two year term.

Tony Rudzki will be the Derringer Coordinator and will be assisted by Erin F. Slattery in her role as the first ever Derringer Coordinator Assistant. These two positions were also filled by acclimation and are a one year term beginning today, July 1st.
