SMFS list member Jennifer Slee reports that several of
her short stories were recognized this year in the 93rd Annual Writer's Digest
Writing Competition. She reported that:
Genre Category:
“The Apex” won 5th place.
“The Running Game” was awarded honorable mention.
“The Third Men” was awarded honorable mention.
Mainstream/Literary
Category:
“Eat Your Heart Out” was awarded honorable mention.
