SMFS congratulates SMFS list member Barb Goffman for
her Macavity Award 2023 win in the “Best Mystery Short Story” category. Her
winning short story, Beauty and the Beyotch, was originally was published in Sherlock Holmes
Mystery Magazine #29. As previously announced, this story also
won a 2022
Agatha Award as well as a 2023
Anthony Award.
