Her standalone, Death By Equine, set in the world of Thoroughbred horseracing, won the 2021 Dr. Tony Ryan Book Award for excellence in thoroughbred racing literature. Her first in a new series, Where the Guilty Hide, comes out in January 2023 and is available for pre-order now. Annette serves on the board of Pennwriters and is the president of the Pittsburgh chapter of Sisters in Crime.
