The Western Writers of America have announced the Spur Awards for 2022. David Heska Wanbli Weiden won the Short Fiction Award for "Skin," published in Midnight Hour: A Chilling Anthology of Crime Fiction from 20 Authors of Color." Leslie Budewitz was a runner-up for "Coming Clean," which appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine, January/February 2021.
