SMFS list member Tara
Laskowski is a 2020 Thriller Award Finalist. Her short story, “The Long-Term
Tenant” published in the Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine: July/August 2019
issue, is a finalist nominee in the “Best Short Story Category.” While ThrillerFest
XV from July 7-11, 2020, in New York City has been cancelled due to the
Covid-19 pandemic, the Thriller Awards will be presented on Saturday, July 11,
2020 as part of the virtual presentation. For more information, including the
