SMFS list member Josh Pachter reported this morning that his short story, Een korte razernij, placed third in the short story category of the Groken Prize (Goeken Prijs). This in an award from the Dutch and is awarded to the best Dutch-language short story. Flemish author Dominique Biebau translated the short story into Dutch for Mr. Pachter.

website and there is an option to download the entire story in Dutch. Mr.
Pachter also reports that there will be a free eBook of the top five winning
stories available at the website soon.
