Introducing Short Mystery Fiction Socials
SMFS Officers Jan Christensen and John R. Lindermuth today announced their approval for any members to plan local mystery & crime short fiction readings promoting the Society.
Each reading is to be promoted as a "Short Mystery Fiction Social", with that title and the Society logo featuring prominently on physical flyers and/or Web graphics. Socials may also be promoted with the hashtag #SMFSocials. The invited readers need not be SMFS members.
Beyond that, all logistics (booking a venue, inviting readers, promoting, and hosting) are up to the individual members who volunteer. Once a Social's details are set, email blog admin Gerald So (G_SO at YAHOO dot COM) and the details will be posted here. Gerald can also provide the logo image in any size and resolution needed.
If you're inspired to join the SMFS to host or read at Socials, we'd be glad to have you.
Thank you and good luck.
