Bouchercon 2023: San Diego begins this Wednesday in
San Diego, California, at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. Numerous SMFS
members will be attending and actively participating on panels, book signings,
and more. The list below features just some of the many activities featuring
SMFS list members. Please remember that times and room locations as well as

Wednesday Evening
8:30 pm. Various SMFS members participate in the
Cozies and Cocktails event.
Thursday Morning
7:00 AM Various SMFS list members participate in
Author Speed Dating.

Trivia with James L’Etoile (Author Spotlight).
2:30 PM Curtis
Ippolito, among others, discuss writing about their different regions of
California (Author Spotlight).
Thursday Evening
During opening ceremonies, Past President Robert Lopresti will present Derringer medals to the 2023 Derringer Award winners that are in attendance. More information on the winners and the categories they won in can be found here.

SMFS list members will be participating in the signing of the Bouchercon
anthology, Killin’ Time in San Diego.
