SMFS Member Award Winners at 2024 Killer Nashville

 

Several SMFS list members reported that they won awards at the recent Killer Nashville Conference.  The full list of winners can be found at the website. The SMFS list members who reported that they received awards are:

 

James L’Etoile won a Silver Falchion Award in the Best Book by an Attending Author category for Face of Greed: A Novel (Oceanview Publishing, November 2023).

 

Richard Helms won a Silver Falchion Award in the Best Anthology (Awarded To Individual Author Or Collection Editor) category for Paper Walls/Glass Houses (Black Arch Books, May 2023)

 

Paul McAvoy won a Claymore Award in the Best Mystery category for What They Buried. Mr.  McAvoy also reports that he additionally won a first runner-up Claymore Award For Best First Fifty Unpublished Pages for the manuscript, What They Buried.

 

P.K. Richard won a Claymore Award in the Best Short Story Collection / Anthology category for Pocket Money and Other Stories.

 

Judy Penz Sheluk won a Silver Falchion Award in the Best Nonfiction category for Finding YOUR Path to Publication: A Step-by-Step Guide (Superior Shores Press).
