SMFS list member Barry Ergang’s latest book is a book of
poetry titled, FARRAGO: Poems of Light and Dark. The book is available in
print and digital formats from Amazon.
Synopsis:
Prefer your poetry
accessible rather than impenetrable? You've come to the right book! FARRAGO
contains a hodgepodge of accessible poems, both light and humorous as well as
dark and serious, rhymed and unrhymed, formal and free, most of which won't
require you to be the poet's psychologist or a mind-reader, or have a Ph.D in
Literature to understand. Included are parodies of "Jabberwocky" and
"Prufrock"--the latter slightly bawdy--a comic poem about a rabbit in
the meter of Poe's "The Raven," as well as more serious works, among
which are tributes to Raymond Chandler and others.
