SMFS Member Publishing News: Peter DiChellis


In addition to his offering for the “You-Solve-It” puzzle titled “Treasure Cave” in the Mystery Weekly Magazine: October 2018, SMFS list member Peter DiChellis reports several other publications this month.

His crime/horror short story, “Dead Ringer” appears in Kzine Issue 22.  The issue is available in print and digital formats from Amazon.

His crime/horror short story, “Disaster Adjuster,” previously published in an earlier edition of Kzine, was published again in The Literary Hatchet #21.  available in print from Amazon .

Additionally, Mr. DiChellis reports that his blog, A Short Walk Down A Dark Street, was included on the annual list of favorite crime fiction blogs at The Rap Sheet.

SMFS Member Publishing News: William Burton McCormick


SMFS List Member William Burton McCormick’s short story "Kutsenko's Cage" that was published in July in Curiosities 3 has been released as a downloadable audio edition on Curiosities's website Gallery of Curiosities. The story is read by Maria Rose after a short introduction by the host who does it in the style of an Old Time radio creepy/fey character in the mode of Inner Sanctum.  It can be heard  here online.

SMFS Short Story Saturdays: Mark Troy

SMFS Short Story Saturdays was born out of the very successful International Short Story Month this year. Each Saturday we feature a SMFS list member whose work can be read online for free. These short stories are at least a year old and were not previously linked to during the May 2018 Short Story Month event.
